Maple French Toast
- 6 – 8 slices of bread
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (125 ml)
- 1 cup milk (250 ml)
- 1/4 cup light cream (60 ml)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (1 ml)
- Pinch of salt, dash of nutmeg
Beat eggs with maple syrup.
Add milk, cream, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Dip bread, one slice at a time, into maple mixture, drain and fry in a hot buttered pan on both sides.
Top with pure maple syrup.
